Workouts

My philosophy is to get the most out of each and every workout.  I don’t have hours to spend in the gym, so I make sure that I work out efficiently…meaning I try to limit my time in the gym to 75 minutes, tops.  Unless I’m training for a race, I try to follow the same “rules” for my running as well.  When weight training, I like to do full-body circuits, moving three times through the circuit before starting the next.  I find that the most variety I can do in my routine, the more excited I am to go to the gym and to get my workout scheduled into my day!

I try to workout first thing in the morning.  Since I work in an office, I have found it can be too daunting to workout in the evening.  My alarm goes off at 5am, I down two cups of coffee on the way to the gym, and I put in a good sweat session before work.  I do yoga as often as possible and try to walk as much as I can!
